What is Cellulaze™?
Developed by Cynosure®, Cellulaze™ is indicated for targeting unappealing cellulite that is difficult to correct through diet and exercise alone, but recent studies have shown that the controlled laser energy used for this treatment also has proven results when used for hyperhidrosis, or excessive sweating.
How Does Cellulaze™ Help Reduce Excessive Sweating/Hyperhidrosis?
When directed just below the skin in the armpits, the laser energy of Cellulaze™ has been shown to significantly decrease the amount of sweat produced in the underarms. As with the cellulite treatment of Cellulaze™, a tiny incision is made, and non-irritating laser energy is directed into treated areas. Once underneath the skin, the laser energy converts to heat, disabling sweat glands and reducing excessive sweating/hyperhidrosis.
